Burial Services
Burial Services
Creating a service that fits your loved one's life is an important first step during the grieving process. Our staff encourages families to create services that are unique to their loved one's life.
Our burial services offer a wide range of choices to help you memorialize your loved one in a meaningful way.
Visitation
This time is set aside for family and friends to gather together to say goodbye, while being in the comfort of those closest to them. We can personalize the visitation to be as unique as your loved one with a tribute video, items or displays that were important to your loved one, or simply pictures displayed. We will work with your family to design the perfect gathering experience.
Funeral Service
The funeral service can be held in our chapel, a church, or any other venue the family chooses. We work with our families to design a service that honors their loved one.
Natural Burial
These type of services are growing in popularity for many reasons. Some people don't like the idea of cremation or embalming; natural burial (some call it "green burial") is when the loved one is buried with very little body prep i.e. the body is washed and dressed then laid in a biodegradable casket. These services are usually held within 24-72 hours after death and there is no viewing (visitation).
Memorial Service
A memorial service is similar to a funeral service; however, the body is not present. This type of service is common when the family prefers to bury their loved one before having a service. The memorial service can be held in our chapel, a church, or any other venue the family chooses. We work with our families to design a service that honors their loved one.
Graveside Service
A graveside service can be held in place of a funeral and can be preceded by visitation at the cemetery or at the funeral home if desired.
Committal Service
A committal service is typically held immediately following the funeral service at the cemetery.
