In August of 1959 she married the love of her life, Jon Niemuth and they were married until his passing in 2019, two months shy of their 60th anniversary. They raised three boys, all of which were born in Rapid City during the years they spent in South Dakota. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother for 5 years, a Room Mother for 6 years as well as an amazing wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and dear friend who will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her.

These include being named the Vice President of the Texas Association of Realty, President of the Irving Board of Realtors, Irving PTA Lifetime Member Award and chaired or participated in numerous other endeavors in her personal and professional life.
Ulavon never forgot and loved her roots in Baca County. Going to the Fair, attending class reunions and visiting with family and old friends were among her favorite things to devote time toward. She was a peace maker, an encourager, an eager ear and always ready for a new friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband, brother Kelly Remling and his wife Suzi as well as her parents and grandparents.
She is survived by her sons, Barry, Jerry and Rodney and their wives and grandchildren, sister Anita Bishop and a multitude of other family members and close friends.
