Trudy Leonard

Trudy Lynn (Goff) Leonard was born in Clayton, New Mexico on November 9 ^th , 1963. She was the eighth of eleven children born to John and Josephine Goff. She passed away on January 30 ^th , 2019 at Southeast Colorado Hospital in Springfield, Colorado.

Trudy married Donald Leonard on August 16 ^th , 1985 and had four children, Jensen, Troy, Collin, and Conner. She spent most of her work life caring for children. She worked at the Springfield school as an aide and also spent many years doing in-home daycare for multiple families.

Trudy is survived by her husband of 33 years, Donald Leonard. Her children, Jensen (Shiloh) Freed, Troy Leonard, Collin Leonard, and Conner Leonard; Grandchildren, Gunner, Oakley, and McCoy Freed; Siblings, Cindy (Ron) Amrine, Denise (Tom) Hebson, Anna (Bill) Mitchell, Lillian(Mike) Wittler, Jessica (Greg) Caricato, John (Teresa) Goff, David (Cora) Goff, and Kim (Charlie) Hoffstatter. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Josephine Goff, and her sisters, Dorothy Thompson and Patsy Packard.

The “Trudy Leonard” memorial fund has been established at Frontier Bank, Springfield-Lamar for those who would like to express their sympathy.
