Patricia Jane Konkel, beloved wife, mom, nana, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025. She was born on October 28, 1947, in Raton, New Mexico, and at age three moved to La Junta, Colorado and then at age eleven moved with her family to Casper, Wyoming. She later graduated from Natrona County High School in 1965.

Pat was the daughter of Lee McCune and Glenna "Olbert" McCune. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her sister, Kay Evans and brother-in-law Jimmy. She is survived by her brother, Ken McCune and wife Candy. She is also survived by her husband of 38 years, Tracy Konkel; Her son, Chris Konkel and wife Tara; as well as her cherished grandson, Liam Konkel.

Pat dedicated 33 years of her life to Phillips Petroleum Company, a career that led to countless memories, journeys and friends. Most importantly she met the love of life Tracy in 1981 at the Phillips Office in Casper, WY. From there, their careers took them to Denver, CO, Houston, TX, Farmington, NM, and Balco, OK where they had a small ranch and a great family life raising their son, Chris.

Ultimately, Lake Havasu City, Arizona, became their home where she and Tracy retired in 2017.

Pat lived a life filled with joy in the simple things. She loved board games, card games, and bowling. She found peace on her ranch, where she cared for her cattle, and she treasured exploring the Colorado trails on a Polaris RZR with her husband and friends. She enjoyed watching game shows, reading her magazines, and traveling-especially to the beaches of Cozumel, Mexico.

She also enjoyed going to her church meeting on Sunday mornings and occasional potlucks with the church friends.

She was a familiar face at the Elks Lodge, accompanying her husband for many years and building warm friendships within the community. Known everywhere for her sweet and gentle nature and her warm smile, Pat never had a harsh word for anyone. She was always happy, warm, humorous, and unfailingly in good spirits. Those who loved her, she was truly the kindest person they had ever known. Pat's love, laughter, and generous spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
