Micheal Timothy Lasley

Micheal Timothy Lasley of Springfield Colorado passed away on May 2, 2024 in Pueblo Colorado.

Born to Floyd Ervin and Nina Ann Lasley, January 1, 1948 in La Junta Colorado. Mike spent his formative years traveling around Colorado for his father’s work. He moved to Montrose Colorado in 1977 and Married Susan Irene Lasley (Seevers) March 31, 1978. They had four children and raised them in Montrose.

Mike was a deeply spiritual man who enjoyed reading, fishing, napping, being with his family, and lively spiritual debate. Born with a congenital heart defect he wasn’t expected to live to forty, so every one of his seventy-six years was a miracle. After forty years in Montrose, he and Soozie moved back to Springfield in 2017 where they quickly fell in love with the town and its people. They found a warm and welcoming community and felt embraced and accepted.

He is survived by his wife Soozie, his four children Callie Taylor, Mykalla Higgins, Timmi Ann Lasley, and Tyrel Lasley, and his six grandchildren Tarran Lasley, Trey Carey, Titus Carey, Alana Lasley, Elizabeth Lasley, and Averie Lasley and his sister Jayne Kell.  He is preceded in death by his parents.
