Lucky Clyde Locke was born August 15, 1949, in Springfield, Colorado to Clyde Ernest (Ernie) Locke and Zelda Ann (Smith) Locke. Lucky spent his early years being Lucky. He attended grade school in Garden City and Wichita Kansas as Ernie worked and attended electrical college, then settling into 5 th Grade at Springfield Elementary as the family moved back to Springfield. Lucky graduated from Springfield High School in 1968. Lucky enjoyed his school years, with his many friends, hunting, fishing, camping, water skiing, riding motorcycles and running the projector at the Capitol Theatre.

After High School, Lucky worked at several jobs including, Jett Hardware, carpet layer, bricklayer, concrete worker, propane delivery, truck driver, and CIG gas technician. After retiring from CIG Lucky moved home to Springfield and helped his dad and nephew Kevin Stolebarger doing electric work.

On August 16 th , 1975 Lucky and wife Zephern (Shelton) was blessed with a baby girl, Heide Diane Locke.

Lucky had many hobbies in life and was extremely talented. He loved woodworking, welding, restoring vehicles, fishing, helping friends, pranking Butch Wade and of course the elk hunting trips with his many family members and friends.

Lucky Locke passed away on July 23rd, 2019 at his home in Springfield, CO at the age of 69.

Lucky was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Clyde and Sarah Locke, maternal grandparents Frank and Mary Smith, father Ernie Locke, sister Leitha Stolebarger, and several uncles, aunts and cousins.

Lucky is survived by mother Zelda Locke of Springfield, CO, daughter Heidi Shockey (Bryan) of Yoder, CO, nephews Kyle Stolebarger of Springfield, CO and Kevin Stolebarger (Jody) of Springfield, CO. Great niece and nephew Madison Burdick of Springfield, CO and Cooper Stolebarger of Springfield, CO. Great-Great nephew and niece Bodie and Rowan Konkel of Springfield, CO, and his many other friends and relatives.

Lucky will be missed by everyone that knew him.
