She was born Judy Arlene Pope in Springfield, Colorado on February 4 th , 1941. Her parents were Harry Lester Pope and Marjorie (Konkel) Pope.  She passed away in Jacksonville, Florida on Saturday April 9 th , 2022.

Judy was raised on a farm northwest of Springfield, Colorado until she and her parents moved into town.  She attended Springfield schools until she graduated from high school in May 1959.

Then, on June 14 th , 1959, she married Winston Parker, also from Springfield.  Judy worked as an assistant to the head of the trust department at a bank in Ft. Collins to help Winston finish his degree at Colorado State University.

After college Judy and Winston first lived in Liberal, Kansas and then moved back to Springfield where Winston taught school. While living in Springfield their daughter, Julie Ann was born.

After leaving Springfield in February of 1965, they moved to La Junta, Colorado, adopting two sons Stephen Trent and Brent Lee, and then moved to Colorado Springs where they raised the family for twenty-seven years before moving to Phoenix, Arizona for ten years, then spending the last thirteen years in Jacksonville, Florida.

Judy was a wonderful wife, mother, and homemaker, and influenced many young women with her many creative skills and the gift of hospitality.

Judy put her faith and trust in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of her sins and for eternal life in heaven in February of 1971 and lived a life of giving and loving others for the sake of their own personal Christian faith. She was a speaker to woman’s groups in over eight states sharing her faith in Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lester and Marjorie Pope and her younger brother Harry Pope, as well as daughter-in-law Kathy Parker and granddaughter Sarah.

She leaves behind, to miss her dearly, her husband Winston, her daughter Julie Bradley and husband Joe, sons Stephen Parker and Brent Parker.  Joe and Julie gave her three grandsons, Noah Bradley, and wife Kristin, Nate Bradley, and wife Anna, and Nic Bradley, and wife Ashleigh.  She was also blessed with seven great grandsons and three great granddaughters - Kalia, Malakai, Kellen, Wesley, Lila, Obadiah, Bowman, Nash, Parker, and Haley.
