Mr. Jon Allen Niemuth was born January 9, 1936, in Brush, Colorado to parents Henry and Minnie (Powers) Niemuth and entered into eternal rest on June 9, 2019, at the age of 83. Jon was a third generation American who grew up working in his family grocery store, graduated from Brush High School, attended Colorado State University for one year and served our country in the United States Army where he was a dental assistant. He married the love of his life, Ulavon, in August of ’59. Jon had worked for Shell Oil and owned Aladdin Property Maintenance. He was a 32 nd degree Mason, member of the First United Methodist Church of Kemp, involved with the Senior Center in Mabank and as a Shriner referred several children to the Scottish Rite Hospital. John was brutally honest, full of integrity great storyteller and jokester; He loved his family especially his kids and grandkids and his dogs. He called every grandkid (or any child he met) “Fred”. He said it was just easier to remember so he called all the kids Fred. Jon enjoyed farming being on any one of his twelve tractors and being in Texas. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved him.

Jon was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. He is survived by his loving wife Ulavon of Haslet, son Barry and wife Lisa of Canyon Lake, son Jerry and wife Rachel of Trophey Club, Son Rodney and wife Liz of Lantana, Grandchildren: Michael, Hunter, Nolan, Blake, Zachary, Reece, Faith, and Caden, sister Jeanette “Teenie” Sumner and husband Darrel of Brush CO, Niece Denise of Fort Morgan CO, niece Julie of Denver CO, other loving family members and many  more friends.
