John R. "Bud" Rezen

John Richard "Bud" Rezen, age 74, died June 21, 2018, in Denver, Colorado following a sudden illness.

Born August 14, 1943 he was the son of the late John G. Rezen and Ida F. (Flo) Rezen.

Bud worked many years in the construction industry, in the engineer dept. for the  phone company, as a Colorado State Patrol officer and as a parts manager for John Deere. He was recognized numerous times by Star Metal Building Company as Dealer/Contractor of the year. He took great pride in those accomplishments.

Bud was a very friendly, kind, compassionate man, if not a little strong willed. A witty line was always on the tip of his tongue.

As a husband and father he found great joy in his family. He was a hardworking man all of his life, which made retirement very difficult. He would have preferred to be doing something productive. Sedentary life was not for him.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents John G. and Ida F. (Flo) Rezen.

He is survived by his wife Linda, son Heath and daughter Cindy and sister Jo Ann.

Graveside services will be June 28, 2018 at 10:00 at the Springfield. Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, there has been a memorial account established at the Frontier Band in memory of John R. "Bud" Rezen.
