Helen Isabel Konkel Rich It is with great sadness that the family of Helen Isabel Konkel Rich announces her passing, Helen passed away peacefully on December 27, 2017, at the age of 87 years. Helen is lovingly remembered by her children Bronwyn Rich Bamber and her son Bobby Wilson Rich II. She is also fondly remembered by her three grandchildren Angela Bamber Eatmon (Todd), Ashleigh Bamber Arriola (Erick) and Taylor Bamber, and her three great-grandchildren - Cade Eatmon, Bryn and Cole Arriola. Helen married Bob Wilson Rich on June 18, 1950. She and Bob ran the Rich Funeral Home in Springfield together until Bob's sudden death in 1967. Helen continued to run the business alone for another ten years. Her strength, her dignity, and her compassion was obvious to everyone in this community as she continued to run the Rich Funeral Home on her own. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Wilson Rich, parents Wilford and Thelma Konkel, brother Bud Konkel, sisters Ilene Konkel Eastham and Marie Konkel Havens, and two great-grandchildren Emery and Max Arriola. Funeral Service in memory of Helen will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at 2:00 pm at Maltbie Funeral Services located at 265 W 8th Ave. in Springfield, CO. Interment will follow in the Springfield Cemetery.
