Fern Viola Wait

Fern Viola Wait was born on July 23, 1926, and passed away peacefully on April 18, 2018, at the age of 91. Fern Viola McCandless married Roy Frank Wait on October 25, 1941, in Johnson, Kansas. Roy and Fern made their home in Campo, CO, where he was a farmer and mechanic, and she was a homemaker and mother. To this union 4 children were born, Virgil, Leroy, Janette, Joyce. Fern was preceded in death by her parents Alvie and Susie McCandless, Husband Roy, Sons Leroy and Virgil, Grandson Virle, Son-in-law Tom Lobbins, Sisters Darlene Bell, Opal Hammond, and Elizabeth Adams. Brother-in-laws Charlie, Wesley, Ralph Wait, and Norval Wallace; Sister-in-laws Dorothy Mason, Betty Morris, and Phyllis Wait. Those left to mourn her passing are Daughters Jan Doctor of Monte Vista, and Joyce Lobbins of Holyoke, Sister Martha Adams, Brother-in law Ernest Wait, Sister-in-law Elsie and husband Frank Cox, Sister-in-law Mary Wallace, Grandchildren Anthony (Ronnie) Doctor, Brad (Gwendolyn) Doctor, Scott Rodgers, Daniel (Gina) Rodgers, Kevin Wait, Belinda Wait, Craig (Haley) Wait, Great-Grandchildren Devyn, Liam, Ella, & Soren Doctor, Amanda, Harlee,&  Jhordan Renner, Elijah, & Thomas Rodgers, Great-Great-Grandchildren Skyla Rain & Noelle Renner, Colton & Brooklyn wait, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family member. Fern requested cremation with no services as her final disposition.
