Ellen B. Hall

Ellen Hall, 95, died January 15, 2022. She was born May 16, 1926, on the ranch north of Pritchett, CO, the daughter of Vital and Nellie (Grover) Bamber.

Ellen started elementary school at Frontier School then continued at Big Rock  School and then graduated from Springfield High School.  Ellen married Merle Hall on October 11, 1945, in Syracuse, KS. Merle preceded her in death on March 25, 2003.

Ellen and Merle lived on a ranch north of Pritchett, CO raising five children, attending school activities of their children and grandchildren: and raising cattle. She was a member of Springfield Baptist Church, Gideon’s, and the Big Rock Grange.  Ellen enjoyed volunteering at the Salvation Army and spending her summers cooking for the campers at Camp Salvation.

Ellen is survived by son, Jack (Debbie) Hall, Cheraw, CO; daughter Vickie (Gary) Dyer, Flagstaff, AZ; son, Bill (Vicki) Hall, Springfield, CO;  daughter, Nancy (Johnnie) Nelson, Kingsland, TX; daughter in Law, Carol Hall, Pritchett, CO. Grandchildren Renee (Thane) Milenski, Wiley, CO; Kelly (Davy) Hamilton, Canyon, TX; Stephanie Dyer, Salt Lake City, UT; Jayson Dyer, Flagstaff, AZ; Bryce (Raquel) Mitchell, Aubrey, TX; Ben (Kati) Mitchell, Texhoma, OK; Chuck (Patricia) Hall, Plainview, TX; numerous great grandchildren and brother, Vete Bamber, Pueblo, CO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Charlie Hall, and brothers, Grover, Robert (Bob), and MR (Bud) Bamber.
