Curtis lived life to the fullest and always on the edge of danger, ever since he could walk. From backflipping on tramps at age 3, to rollerblading at age 5, this little boy never saw an obstacle in his way, just a challenge to beat.

Getting into teenage years the stunts only got more insane and challenging, from dirt biking and jumps, to flips on skateboards, to dangerous cliff jumping. Curtis never saw fear - just fun and adrenaline.

He was a hard worker and performed many jobs all while still doing what he loved, from basketball, to horse shoes, wrestling, golf, football, skating and motorcycles but most importantly hunting with his brother Shelby and his closest friends, fishing and camping with his mama and best friend Zeus. Give that boy a lake and mountain and his smile beamed.

His laugh was contagious, smile permeable, hugs comforting and the love for his dog Zeus, friends, and family  are undeniable. He will be missed immensely but never forgotten, so when you look up at the dippers in the sky or see a ripple in a lake, or rustle of the leaves in the mountain trees know our Curtis is with you every step of the way.

To My Curtis Wayne,

You lived life on the edge of danger my little OK-tornado. Your backflips, rollerblading, snowboarding, motorcycle riding, horseshoes, wiffleball, bowling, disk golf, camping, and fishing.

Your love for writing and rapping and singing every song you heard, quoting every line to any movie put a smile on my face.

The love for your trusted companion Zeus for 7 years was beautiful. Watching every child bond and play with you proved you would have been an amazing Dad. You were the best Uncle around.

I will miss your “hello,” smile, and hugs. I miss watching you never meeting a stranger. Your laugh will never leave my ears. I will never forget.

Sing and dance your dance for me until we meet again.

Love you Turdis,

Mama
