Carol Louise Watkins (Ellis) 74, passed in her home with family by her side on February 24, 2023, after a Hard fight with kidney failure.

Carol was born to Hobert and Janice (Mackert) Watkins on December 21, 1948, she was the first of Ten children. She was born in Las Animas Colorado and attended Springfield school. Growing up in a large family she became a second mom to her brothers and sisters through the years. Her Grandkids were the light of her life, you would rarely find her without one of them trailing behind her. She enjoyed fishing, hunting arrowheads, a good card game, and spending time with family. Even though she moved away several times Springfield was always home, and in the early 80's she moved back home for good. She worked many places in Springfield but found love in cleaning homes. Carol will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Carol Married Jim Sweeney, in this marriage, Cindy Sweeney was born October 2, 1964, and James Sweeney January 10, 1966. Carol Married Kenneth Hines, in this marriage Candy Hines was born October 5, 1969. Carol married Kent Ellis, in this marriage, Samantha Ellis was born on April 30,1985. When Carol married Kent, she gained five children, Don Colter, Rusty Grimes, Cindy Pint (Ellis), Patrick Ellis, And Melissa Marshall (Ellis).

Carol was preceded in death by her parents Hobert and Janice Watkins; Brother, Gary Watkins; Daughter, Cindy Sweeney; Son, James Sweeney; Grandson, Nicholas Jasa; Nephew, Carl Watkins; Nephew, Wesley Watkins; Husband, Jim Sweeney; Husband, Kenneth Hines; and Husband, Kent Ellis.

Carol leaves behind her two daughters, Candy (David) Mason and Samantha (Robert) Mason. Her bonus children Don Colter, Rusty Grimes, Cindy Pint, Pat Ellis, Melissa (Carl) Marshall. Best Friend Donna Kitzmiller; Brothers and Sisters Sue (Ron) Piper, Evelyn Denton, Molly (Jeff) Lohse, Connie (Bob) White, Bobby (Connie) Watkins, David (Karen) Watkins, Debbie Alcorn, Sharron (Richard) Birt. Grandkids, James Sweeney, Katrina Bateman, Brittany Hines, Ashlynn Mason, Zac Nelson, Hailey Mason, and Robert Mason. 17 Bonus grandchildren, 22 Great grandchildren, 26 Nieces and Nephews, 45 Great Nieces and Nephews, and 15 Great-Great Nieces and Nephews.
