Bonnie Montgomery was born in Walsenburg, Colorado on May 3, 1958 to James and Doretha Adams. She spent her life with a warm smile and an untouchable work ethic. Later in life she had 5 kids. She proved on a daily basis how much she loved every single one of us. The relationship between a mother and a child is like none other; she had known you longer than anyone else. The connection may not always be perfect, but always ran deeper than anyone could every understand. Bonnie was the most compassionate, caring, selfless person someone could ever meet. She lived her life wanting to make sure everyone's life around her was fulfilled. She was full of life and one of the most fun people to ever be around. She loved every single one of her family and friends; but the love she had for Grandchildren was unmatched. They were always her life and made her so happy.
Bonnie was a wonderful citizen in this community. She has worked several placed in the town; but the last place of employment, working at the Springfield School lunchroom made her very happy. Especially, for the fact she got to see and chat with all the kids coming through the lunch line everyday. She grew to love every single child that came to see her daily. She love to see others smile and be happy; yet, would never let anyone know her own struggles. Her entire family was her entire existence and she loved everyone of us.
Bonnie loved any type of traveling, which she called her Adventures; seeing new things and meeting new people. She shared so many memories with her family and fiends that will live on forever in our hearts. She was definitely one of a kind. From day to day life, to her Halloween shenanigans. She loved dressing up and scaring the soul out of people; and decorating and spending time with her crazy family. At Thanksgiving, Bonnie made an over abundance of food and treats for everyone to share and enjoy. Christmas was her time to spoil and accommodate her family and friends with an overwhelming pile of gifts, that came from the heart and fatten us all up again with delicious food and treats. Our holidays with her will forever live in us till our last breathes.
Bonnie Elaine Montgomery would want every single person know that she loves us all and God Bless us. She will be shadowed in life by us only hoping to be half the amazing person she was. May you rest in peace and happiness; you will maintain a huge part of all our minds and hearts forever. Life won't be near as sweet without you; but rest assured you have impacted so many lives and made us strong enough to endure the coming years.
Love you to the moon and back. See you in heaven later on and keep the rest of our wild family and friends there in check; which I know you will. Rest with no concern and a smile on your beautiful face. We all love you Mom, Grandma, Sister, Aunt, Girlfriend; but most of all the happiness you gave in some many lives.
