Walter C. Lacy

Walter C. Lacy Pastor Walter C. Lacy passed away peacefully on July 11th, 2010 in Casper, WY. He was born March 19th, 1929 near Springfield, CO to Frank and Alice (Thompson) Lacy. He married his sweetheart, Alice Grover in 1949 and they were married for 61 years. He received Chrsit as his Savior when he was 22 years old and was called to the ministry immediately after. He pastored churches in Montana, New Mexico, Colorado, and Wyoning. He is survived by his wife Alice, his two children, John (Edette) and Doris (Ernie) Collins, brothers Ronald and Wayne Lacy, sisters Dorothy Cooper and Mary DeBusk and 8 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Harold, and a great grandcild, Evan. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 on Thursday, July 15th at Calvary Baptist Church in Casper, WY and at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 17th at the First Baptist Church in Springfield, CO.
