Describing Jeffery is a difficult task, his interest and accomplishments are only a small part of what made so many people care so deeply about him. Words do not come to mind, and inadequate as they are, they are what we have.
His ornery streak was about a mile wide; he was always teasing people. Fortunately, he grew out of teasing his siblings to the point of physical retaliation. Mostly, he was a hard worker, from the time Warren bagan taking him to help change and fix tires when he was a kid. Those day at work with is dad sparked a love of cars and other things that go fast that comtinued his entire life, and carreid over in racing. That same love drew him to Garden City Community College to become an auto mechanic, where he was on the dean's least.
His mototcycle was often called his "wife," he would spend many hours just riding around. In fact it was after a ride with his girlfriend Kammie when she went into labor on the night that would change his life forever.
Kammie shook Jeffery and tried to wake him, telling him that her water had broke. The importance of the moment may have been lost on him at the time he sat up and asked "Where are my pants?" He soon realized how blessed he was as Kammie gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Kamery became the light of Jeffery's life.
His second love was the racetrack, whether it was Econo class on the Colorado circuit or Dwarf class in Kansas.
On June 22, 2010 he died in an accident at work. He leaves behind his wife Kammie and daughter Kamery, his parents Warren and Janet, inlaws Karla and Banie Cumbie, siblings Rosie(Jarred) Masterson, Joey (Missy), and Steven Schiffer, Chip (Tabitha) Schiffer, and Amy (Leland) Olds, Grandmother Rosie Lee Schiffer, nieces Kennedy Masterson, Renee Schiffer, nephews Carter, Jaxon, and Grant Masterson, Taven Schiffer, and James Olds, C.
