Lifetime Baca County resident Vivian Robins departed this life January 22, 2017 at the age of 97. Vivian spent all but two years of her life in Baca County. She was born in Vilas, Colorado on November 29, 1919, lived in Montrose, Colorado for two years from 1936-1938, when she and Earl moved back to Baca County. Vivian leaves to mourn her passing three daughters: Dorothy (Bob) Faulkner, Loretta (Norman) Granger, and Charlotte (Oscar) Eden. Also surviving are seven Grandchildren: Bret (Jane) Faulkner, Scott Faulkner, Nan (John) Maneage, Kandi (Mike) Rosengrants, Dallas Granger, Judd Granger, and Doug Lapar, Thirteen great-grandchildren: Mark, Derek, and Jacob Faulkner, Mathew and David Maneage, Cortney Rosengrants, Matt (Shambrey) Rosengrants, Alex, Hannah, and Noah Granger, Kera (Ryan) Graves, Amber Granger, and Tajia Lapar, Three great-great-granddaughters: Brody and Braelyn Rosengrants, and Lynnlee Graves. Extended family include: Vivian’s special brother- in- law Lloyd (Joy) Robins and sister-in-law Anna Jane Venosdel, 6 step grandchildren, 16 step great grandchildren, 10 step great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Vivian was preceded in death by her beloved husband Earl in 1997, one brother-in-law, 6 sister-in-laws and her only brother Donald VenosdelAs an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be given to the Southeast Colorado Hospital District - Long Term Care Center, 373 East 10th Avenue, Springfield, CO 81073.
