James Skidmore

James Skidmore was born November 23, 1952 in Oakdale, California. He died in Orlando, Florida, June 8, 2009 at the age of 57. His parents were Sterling James Skidmore and Elsie Grace (Huff) Skidmore. He has an older half-brother Glen Edward Robinson of Denver. Glen remembers Jimmy as being a happy child with an award winning smile and big sparkling eyes. Glen said a son was born to Jim and Shirley Skidmore. Jim expressed deep sadness when he told me he had a son who was not aware he had a father that loved him. Jimmy had another brother, Robert Skidmore of Oregon. His Grandparents were Samuel D. Huff and Cora Huff of Pritchett. He was inducted into the U.S. Army in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He was discharged in 1974. His aunts were Vera (Huff) Alderson of Albany, California and Verna (Huff) Hawley of Berkley, California.
