Becky Jo Shepherd

Becky Jo Ingle Shepherd passed away May 31, 2016, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia after suffering a heart attack at the age of 43. She was born on August 24, 1972, in Springfield, CO to Robert Ingle and Sheila Emick. Becky graduated from Springfield High School in 1991, then attended Oklahoma Panhandle State University in Goodwell, Oklahoma and graduated in 2002 with a BA in business. On October 2, 1994, Becky was blessed with her pride and joy, and the light of her life, Dakota McQuiston. After several years as a single mom attending Collage and taking care of her son, Becky met Stephen Shepherd and they married in 2003. They moved to Glasgow Montana in 2004 where Stephen was a teacher at an Indian School and Becky was the school secretary. In 2007 they moved to Georgia and have lived there ever since. Becky enjoyed providing for her husband, son and her family when she was able to. Becky accepted Jesus as her savior at an early age and re-dedicated her life to the Lord in 2015. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and family until we meet again in our heavenly home. Becky Jo is survived by husband Stephen Shepherd, Son Dakota McQuiston from Social Circle, GA, Father Robert Ingle of Springfield, CO, Mother Sheila Emick, of Vilas, CO, Brother Mike (Amber) Ingle, Nephew Devon Ingle all of Springfield, CO, Grandmother, Florence Mason of Springfield, CO, and by numerous Uncles, Aunts, cousins and other family members and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by Grandfather Ora C. Mason, Step-Father John Emick, and Aunt Colleen Mason. The Becky Jo Shepherd memorial account has been established at the Colorado East Bank and Trust in Springfield CO for those who wish to express their sympathy.
