E.Drew Dunlap

Echo Drew Dunlap was born Dec. 29, 1954 to Jack and Marjorie (Brite) Thompson, in Boise City, OK. He departed this life on May 20, 2016 after a lengthy illness in Springfield CO. He is survived by his mother Marjorie Dunlap, two half-brothers, Allen and Norton Thompson, as well as a host of relatives. In 1962 Marjorie married Ray “Doc” Dunlap, who then adopted Drew. Drew grew up on the Dunlap Ranch and made ranching his life’s work, which he loved dearly. At an early age Drew accepted the Lord as his Savior and remained a loyal and faithful servant for his entire life. Drew was a humble, honest, and gentle man. He enjoyed spending evenings on the ranch listening to the doves call, watching sunsets over the mesa and just being in “nature”. Drew lived a simple and honorable life…a friend to all…young and old.
