William "Bill" Carpenter

William “Bill” Carpenter was born July 22, 1936 in Olive Hill, Kentucky and passed away April 24, 2016 at the age of 79 in Springfield, Colorado. Bill is survived by his wife Carolyn Carpenter of Springfield, Children-Linda Carpenter of New York, Bill Carpenter Jr. and wife Rhonda of Maryland, Jennifer Doane of Las Animas, and Melissa Mcfarlane and Fiancé Chance Smith. He is also survived by Grandchildren Jennifer, Jake, Tara and husband Stuart, Erika, Cody, Trae and wife Megan, Dustin, and Shaylee, as well as 4 great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members. Bill is preceded in death by his Mother Hester as well as Son-in-law Jay Doane. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be given to the Colorado Division of Wildlife in Bill’s memory.
