Marilyn Jo Gibson

Marilyn Gibson age 79 passed away Sunday March 13, 2016 at the Southeast Colorado Hospital in Springfield CO. She requested cremation and there is no service scheduled at this time. Marilyn was born November 29, 1936 to Joe and Beth Fritz in Niobrara, Nebraska. Marilyn is survived by her husband Bob Gibson of Springfield, Daughters Kathy Houghton of Springfield, Sheila Westphal of Lamar, and Dee (John) Ownbey of Springfield. She is also survived by grandchildren Jamie Houghton of Hot Springs Arkansas, Jody (Starla) Westphal of Springfield, Christopher (Robyne) Westphal of Springfield, Brody Ownbey, and Demi Ownbey both of Springfield, 5 great grandchildren, Justin, Dalton, Jayci, Whittney, and Brakelle. Also left to mourn her passing is one brother Gary Fritz of Nebraska. Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Beth Fritz, Sisters Jeannie, Margarete, and Jo Ann. Marilyn will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
