Gary Wayne Reed

Gary arrived on August 26, 1963 in Lamar, Colorado and departed this life March 14, 2009 in Denver, Colorado where he spent his last years. He leaves behine his loving family; wife, Starla Dee (White) Reed; three daughters, Kelsey, Kanisha, and Kassie of Springfield, Colorado; two sons, Paul Aaron Lee Hope, of Salisaw, Oklahoma, and Kelby Reed of Boise City, Oklahoma. Gary was preceded in death by both of his parents Johnny Aaron Reed and Dorothy Jane (Hiner)Reed Cowgill. Both set of Grandparents Jasper and Ruby Reed, and David Elmo and Dorothy Delora Hiner. One daughter Danika Dee Reed, and Starla's grandparents Ralph Hart and Charles Wade and Ruby Allen White. To most that knew him saw the hot tempered boy still growing up and finding his own way in life; but for those that loved him we saw the big teddy bear that he really was. He loved his family as much as any man could and will always be watching over them no matter where they are or what they do. Their fathers' love will always be there for them. Gary leaves behind two brothers and their families; Greg (Deena) Reed of Lakin, Kansas; Galen Reed of Walsh; two nephews, Zach and Johnny; five neices, Taryn, Kendall, Jordan, Jessica, and Jennifer; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
