Fallon Ore Stapleton was just 22 when she passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2009 in Aurora, Colorado at Children’s Hospital; it was her birthday. Fallon was born February 7, 1987 in Denver, Colorado five minutes before five. She weighed 6 lb 4 oz and was 20 inches long and was just a little angel. She was diagnosed with Retts Syndrome at the age of two. She had a rough start but with the help of Mom, Dad, and big sister DesiRae she made it all the way through school; starting at the OP Center of Denver at age 3; she attended Sabin Elementary, Hamilton Jr. High School, and graduated May 24, 2007 from Thomas Jefferson High School. Graduation day was a very special day for Fallon and her family; a great day of accomplishment. Looking back, she made it through school with only two hospital stays. Fallon was so happy all the time; she lived with her parents, Andy and Barbara Stapleton; and nine dogs. Her favorite dog was Kia, her sleeping buddy and loving companion. Saturday, February 7, Fallon started her day with a happy birthday from mom; she was getting ready for her day of fun when she had a very bad seizure. Her heart stopped not once but three times before she left this world shortly after 7:00 pm. Mom and Dad were at her side at Children’s Hospital when her heart finally could take no more. It was just too much for that wonderful little heart. She left behind her parents, Andy and Barbara Stapleton of Denver, Colorado; Big sister DesiRae Stapleton; Grandmother, LaVona Hoover; uncles and aunts, Riley and Judy Callahan, Gale and Deanna Crane, Mike and Mamie Humphrey, Gwyneth Trombley, Gary and Eddie Hoover, Jack Smith, Robert and Gerri Smith and tons of loving Cousins. She will be greatly missed. Fallon was laid to rest Friday, February 20, 2009 at Springfield Cemetery, Springfield, Colorado, next to her niece Rayann Galinger and Grandpa Dale Hoover. Rich Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Rich Funeral Home.
