Gladys Marie Self

Gladys Marie Denney Self was born March 21, 1925 in Rural Baca County to Dewey and Laura (Baker) Denney. Gladys departed this life on June 29, 2015 at the Springfield Long Term Care Center at the age of 90. Gladys is survived by two sons- Harold and spouse Shana Self and Joe and spouse Penny Self all of Springfield CO. She is also survived by grandson Austin and spouse Jamie and son Odin Self of Fort Collins CO, and Granddaughter Albany and spouse John and children Cashous & Lillyauna Luna of Denver CO; as well as numerous other extended family members. She is preceded in death by her husband Henry Harold better known as “Sonny” Self, her parents Dewey and Laura Denney, Sister Lucille and Brother Lloyd as well as numerous other extended family members. Funeral service for Gladys will be held Monday July 6, 2:00 PM at Maltbie Funeral Services. Interment will follow in the Springfield Cemetery.
