Danny Neil Polson

Danny Neil Polson was born Feb. 12, 1954 to Pete & Elsie Polson in Boise City, OK. He was raised in Campo, CO, where he graduated from Campo High School in 1972. He played basketball and baseball during his high school days. Danny married and started his family. Later, deciding to join the U.S. Army. He managed and operated, Brakes Plus in the Phoenix, AZ area for several years. He married Karen Enrici in 2003. Danny passed away on Jan. 11, 2009 after a short battle with cancer. He loved bull riding, dancing, playing pool, boating and fishing. He enjoyed building barns and fences where he and Karen raised horses. He loved spending time with his family, especially kids and grandkids. Danny was preceded in death by his grandparents Ed and Anna Mae Wait; his father, Pete Polson; a brother-in-law, Rick Collins and a niece Cynthia Montgomery. Survivors include his precious wife, Karen of the home in Buckeye, Arizona; his mother and step-dad, Elsie and Frank Cox; also of Buckeye, Arizona; a daughter Tonya and a son Daniel; grandson Daniel James and granddaughter Trinity; two sisters, Judy Collins of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Trudy and husband Pete Apel of Pueblo West, Colorado; one niece, four nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and a special dog “Maggie” .
