Earl E Babb

Earl E. Babb was born in Lamar, Colorado on February 11, 1931. Oldest son of Walter and Irma Babb. He was in the army for two years; during his enlistment he was stationed in Germany. He met and married Laura Anderson in 1956 and to that union they had five children. He is survived by his wife Laura of the family home; son Edwin (Alanda) Babb, daughter Janet (Warren) Schiffer, daughter Peggy (Kirk) Guder, all of Springfield, Colorado; and son Don (Tamie) Babb of Guymon, Oklahoma. He is also survived by twelve grand children, six great-grand children, and many neices, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Diann Babb; his father, Walter Earl Babb; mother, Irma Ruth Babb; sister, Hazel Ely; brother in-law, Vernon Ely; sister in-law, Linda Dean; and brother in-law, Gus Anderson. Earl worked for Southeast Colorado Power for about 41 years. He enjoyed working on cars, electric motors and enjoyed his grand children and great-grand children.
