Marvin Orville Venter

Marvin Orville Venter born April 25, 1945 departed this life on earth February 11, 2015. Marvin was born to Orville and Eva Venter and was the youngest of five children. Marvin is survived by Sister Juanita Dunaway of San Diego California, sister Valerie and husband Guy Deeds of Pritchett CO, brother Jack and wife Betty Venter of Pritchett CO, and brother Don Venter of Springfield CO. He was a resident of Springfield CO at the time of his death. Marvin spent most of his life in Baca County. He graduated from High School and attended all grades of school in Springfield CO. He went to college in year 1963 to Goodwell Oklahoma and West Texas. He worked with yellow freight line. He worked on the oil rig rough necking. He was a rancher and farmer. He lived on the Venter homestead most all of his life. He liked welding and mechanics. He lived a simple and independent life. Burial will be in the Springfield Cemetery.
