Jimmie Charles Gabbert

Baca County resident Jimmie Charles Gabbert passed away January 2, 2015 in Springfield Colorado at the age of 91. Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 6th 2:30 PM at the Springfield United Methodist Church 901 Colorado Street in Springfield, CO. Burial will follow in the Springfield Cemetery. Jimmie is survived by one sister Eltha Lynn Leimkuhler of Springfield, Several nieces and nephews: Nikki Leimkuler of Springfield, Kyle (Heather) Leimkuhler of Leoti KS, Lori (Les) Schroyer of Lamar CO, Michelle (Boyd) Evan, and Emily Westeman of Syracuse KS, Phillip (Jeri) Packard of Ulysses KS, Doug Hunter, and Sharron Jones of Springfield CO, and Justin Hunter of Colorado City, Tara Hunter of Pueblo West, and Staci Goodbar of Pueblo West. Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents Jess and Florence Gabbert, Sister Cleon Hunter, Brother in law F.V. Hunter, Brother in law Kenneth Leimkuhler and Nephew Mike Hunter.
