Shirley Ann Greenlee

Life time Baca County resident Shirley Greenlee passed away Thursday October 9th in Springfield Colorado at the age of 78. Funeral services will be held Monday October 13th – 2:00 pm at the Springfield Trinity Church located on East 7th Ave. and Park in Springfield Colorado, with interment to follow in the Springfield Cemetery. Community visitation will be on Sunday October 12th from 5-7PM at Maltbie Funeral Services- 265 West 8th Ave. in Springfield. Shirley is survived by three sons Ron and Vicki Greenlee of Springfield, Herb and Ruth Ann Greenlee of North Platte Nebraska and Kevin Greenlee and David Hansen of Parker Colorado. Shirley is also survived by grandchildren: Trenten, Nick (Charley), Adrienne, Sean (Jessica), Steve (Kristin), Michelle (Brad), Jessica (Danny), as well as great grandchildren: Lili, Townes, Waylon, Vivienne, Cooper, Hesston, Joshua and Lillian, as well as numerous nephews and nieces. She is also survived by her sister Margaret Wade of Springfield, sister Ines Brisendine of Pittsburg KS, sister Iris Taff of Springfield, brother Bob Gibson of Springfield, sister Charlene Shaw of Selden KS, and brother Larry Gibson of Springfield. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Mary Gibson, Husband Mervin Greenlee, infant son Troy Greenlee, and Brothers Kenneth, Wayne, Donald, and Gene. The family suggests memorial contributions in lieu of flowers to be sent to the Southeast Colorado Alzheimer’s Unit in Shirley’s memory.
