Emma Ruth Lynch was born March 10, 1930 in Elmwood, OK to Bruce and Elizabeth Foreman.
She died February 25, 2012 in Springfield, CO at the Long Term Care facility at the age of 81 years old. She was married to Lunsford Madison Lynch, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Polletta and son-in-law Dennis Smith, a grandson, Bruce and granddaughter Emmaleah all of Campo Colorado; a sister Gladys Walton of Vero Beach Florida.
Besides her husband, Lunsford Emma Ruth was preceded in death by one brother LeRoy Foreman.
Emma Ruth deeply loved her husband Lunsford for three years, when she lost hime to a car accident. Although she was young, she never re-married believing that she had such a wonderful husband that no one could ever compare to him. Their daughter Polletta was born a few weeks after his death and was her joy! As she grew up they became the best of friends. Emma Ruth always the independent one was jokingly called "The Lone Ranger" and Polletta became her sidekick "Tonto".
One of the things she was known for was her skill in the kitchen. Considered a good southern cook, she never turned anyone away from her table. Emma Ruth enjoyed helping people and loved her cats. In her younger days she was a very active person. One piece of advice she shared with family was to never hold onto anger, "Always make up before you go to bed at night."
Emma Ruth was a very private person, but she had two key charactersitics: she was very truthful and some might even say blunt and she always kept her word.
As she loved her family and friends, she will be remembered with fondness and love as well.
