Nancee Martin

Nancee Martin, a lifelong Fountain resident, died at home October 1, 2011 from health complications. She was born February 28, 1940 in Ellensburg, WA to John and Zona McCracken. She graduated from Springfield, CO High School. She married Ron Martin June 19, 1958. They were married over 53 years. She was a math aide at Widefield High School for 20 years. She is survived her husband, who is retired electrician from the City of Fountain; her stepfather, Wilson Huff, Pritchett, CO; her daughter, Ronda Martin, Hanover, CO; her son and daughter-in-law, Duane and Michelle Martin, Albuquerque, NM, her sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Max Peterson, Nipomo, CA; her grandsons, Kyle and Jeff Givens of Hanover, Nathan Mast and Jeremiah Martin of Albuquerque, and Scott Felton and his family of California, four great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 7, at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. Highway 85/87, Fountain. Additional services and internment will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 8, at the First Baptist Church in Springfield. The church is located at 801 Church St.
