THESE ARE WORDS WRITTEN BY ALICE
Alice Eden Orndorff Dalton, was born in Elkhart, Kansas, February 18, 1923 as the 7th child of Oscar and Lillie Eaden. Alice was 6 years old when her parents moved back to Baca County, 3 miles south and 10 east of Campo. Her parents moved to Campo in 1934, where she received her education in Campo schools. Alice married Emery Orndorff, August 24, 1939; Emery passed away May 30, 1988. In 1991 Alice married Walter Dalton; Walter passed away May 30, 1998. Alice's love was to all the children in her family, but she did not have any children of her own. Alice was "born again" November 15, 1945 and began a life long journey of walking with the Lord. She believed in the Bable. "THAT" she belived in!! She taught and preached from the Word for 56 years. (I am writing this January 3, 2002). I love my God and my family and faithful friends. I will by God's grace, serve him the rest of my life. All who hear this read at my funeral (baring the raptures of the saints) lift your hands and praise God!! Sing a song of praise. I am in heaven! Praise the Lord, rejoice and be glad for me! My journey is finished! I am home and with family and friends that has gone aheas!
Love in Jesus, Alice
I hope all can say "when she was born again on November 15, 1945 - she loved and served her Lord, faithfully all her life". As an ordained minister of the gospel, she believed what she preached and taught, and if this is ever read at my funeral, you will know Alice is in Heaven, Praise God! All my family and friends please live to join me some day. I love you all!
