Karen I. Wiedeman "Kari" Aka "Auntie Boo and Dad" (June 17, 1956 - July 9, 2011) Karen Wiedeman age 55 years of Pritchett, CO passed away Saturday, July 9, 2011 at the Southeast Colorado Hospital in Springfield, CO. Karen was the daughter of Arthur F. Wiedeman Jr. and Kahleen Kiichli Wiedeman Wright. She was born in Bozeman, MT raised in Cut Bank, MT and later moved to Guymon, OK where she lived for 5 years; she lived the remainder of her life in the Springfield and Pritchett, CO area. Karen spent her days as a "domestic engineer". She enjoyed holidays, family gatherings, making everyone laugh, and having a good time. Her most joyous time was spent with her family while preparing large family meals and teaching her great nieces and nephews to cook along the way. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur F. Wiedeman Jr.; mother, Kathleen Wiedeman Wright and a niece, Jill Cheek. Survivers include her daughter, Brandi Wiedeman and fiance, Dale Crownover of Springfield, CO and three grandchildren, Maricha, Amber, and Travis Wiedeman; a sister Karla and her husband Eddie Cheek of Pritchett, CO; a brother, Rick and his wife, Terry Wiedeman and their children; Brittney, Cassie, and Tyler of East Helena, MT; a great uncle Paul Wiedeman and his daughter Tara McNeil of MT. Nieces she helped raise, Jeanine and her husband James Costner and their children James and Justice of Guymon, OK; Michelle Womack and her children; Victoria, Gabriel, Cheyenne, Jillian, Lacey, and Leslie of Springfield, CO; Amanda and her husband Seth Verner and their children Veronica and Cooper of Yarbrough, OK; Billie and her husband Ryan Hartley and their children Hunter and Jill of Grand Junction, CO; Melissa and her husband Joey Padilla and their children Monica, Courtney, and Tyler of Guymon, OK; Jill's daughter Icey and her dad Zerrell Wilson and his wife Heather of Rocky Ford, CO, and Katie Dean of Pritchett, CO. Memorial Services will be held Friday, July 15, 2011 at the Tabernacle Baptist Church 709 N. Ellison in Guymon, Oklahoma at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to P.O. Box 54, Pritchett, CO 81064
