Vida Fern Love entered this life on August 2, 1914 in Lamar, Colorado to Ora Seamor Wolfe and Clara Oda (Neal) Wolfe. The Wolfe family resided at 741 Colorado Street in Springfield for many years. Vida graduated from Springfield High School on May 19, 1933. After High School Vida moved to La Junta where she worked at a variety of jobs. While living in La Junta she met her husband. At the age of 44, Vida married George Love on April 1, 1952 in Raton, New Mexico. They resided in Pritchett, Colorado where George farmed and ran the local gas/service station for several years. George passed away on November 19, 1982 and Vida remained in the home at Pritchett until her health no longer allowed for her to climb the steep flight of stairs. In December 2007 she moved to Life Care Center in Cololrado Springs where she remained until her departure. Vida was precedeed in death by her parents, Ora and Clara (Neal) Wolfe, her husband George Love, one brother, Kenneth Wolfe, and a step-son, Bob Love. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mildred Wolfe and two nephews, Edwin and Alvin Wolfe, all of Lady Lake, Florida, a step-son Jimmy and Dotothy Love of Athens, Texas and a step-daughter, Doris Anderson of Lamar, Colorado. Vida is also survived by her deatest and long-time friend, Dorothy Luellen of Scottsdale, Arizona, and her beloved "adopted" grandchildren, Jerry Luellen of Scottsdale, Arizona ad Crystal Collette (and husband Dave) of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
